Driving Directions - West Point Golf Course

From Points South: Tappan Zee Bridge or George Washington Bridge Passenger Vehicles Only
• Follow signs once on the west side of the Hudson river to get on the Palisades Parkway North
• Follow the Palisades Parkway all the way to the end, which is the Bear Mountain traffic circle.
• Go almost all the way around the circle and get on 9W North.
• Follow 9W North for approximately 5.5 miles.
• Get off 9W at the exit marked for Routes 218, 293 and truck Route 6 on the right hand side. Note: Do Not get off the first 218 exit that you see be sure to go the 5.5 miles.
• Once you have gotten off 9W the golf course parking lot is 1/10 of a mile on the right hand side.

From Points South: Commercial Vehicles or Passenger Vehicles
• Take I-87 North to the Harriman Exit # 16.
• Get off Exit 16 and follow signs for “Woodbury Commons”.
• At the traffic light (end of the ramp) make a left.
• Go to the fourth traffic light and make another left on Route 6 east.
• Follow Route 6 for 3.1 miles and bear left on Route 293.
• Follow Route 293 for 6.8 miles.
• Follow signs for Route 9W North.
• You will go under Route 9W and bear right as if going to 9W North. You will come to a stop sign immediately after the fork and see the golf course entrance directly across from you. Go straight across the street and into the golf course parking lot. NOTE: Don’t make the right toward 9W North at the stop sign; go straight into the parking lot, as the right will bring you onto 9W North which you DO NOT want to get on.

From Points North:
• Take interstate 84 to Exit 10 S.
• If traveling West this is the second exit after crossing the Newburgh/Beacon Bridge. Stay right and follow signs for Route 9W.
• If traveling East exit 10 is the last exit before the Newburgh/Beacon Bridge.
• Make a right turn on 9W South.
• Follow Route 9W south for approximately 16 miles.
• The last few miles take you over a mountain. At the bottom of the mountain take your first exit marked “Central Valley”. The exit is a sharp right hand turn off 9W.
• Stay to the right, twice, which will take you back under 9W.
• Bear right at the fork immediately after going under 9W.
• You will come to a stop sign immediately after bearing right at the fork.
• The West Point Golf Course parking lot is straight ahead of you when you get to the stop sign. NOTE: Don’t make the right toward 9W North at the stop sign; go straight into the parking lot, as the right will bring you onto 9W North which you DO NOT want to get on.
