2009 Newmans Own Award

Family and Friends For Freedom Fund is the proud recipient of a $5,000 grant from the 2009 Newman's Own Award. The Awards Ceremony was held September 10, 2009 at the Pentagon. Angela Moscatello accepted the award from Admiral Mike Mullen. We would like to thank Newman's Own, Fisher House and Military Times Media Group.

Annual Beefsteak Benefit Dinner held at The Brownstone in Paterson, NJ on November 11, 2009. Over 450 supporters attended the annual event in support of the FAMILY & FRIENDS FOR FREEDOM FUND’S ongoing efforts to provide financial grant assistance to our wounded military and their families.

Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, stops by the Family & Friends For Freedom table at a recent America Supports You Concert Event at the Pentagon. The concert, featuring Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band, kicked off National Military Appreciation Month. It was an Honor to Meet both Donald Rumsfeld and Gary Sinise and to take part of a wonderful event for our troops.
